Wrapped up the league title yesterday, first time winning division 1 for our side.
Now to prepare for the play offs to play premier league cricket

The aim is to go up then? Lots of talk around the circuit that you guys can’t go up?

Rumours will always ruin cricket 😂
Got to show intent and go for it!
We are a young side so may as well have a crack at it when we still have the opportunities to!

Ahh please don’t take that the wrong way. As in that the club can’t due to league requirements. Also promotion would rule out a NVC run next year. As a TC happy to see you boys go up. 3 up helps our stiffs out

1’s ended the season with 4 straight wins over some good teams and got to 5th.
2’s won their last to seal their place in their division but also jumped up to 5th.
3’s picked up a few wins but lowish in the table and just hope to stay in the league next season.
So all in all not a terrible league season with teams staying in tough divisions and high hopes of next year.

We've now gone a full 22 matchweeks unbeaten, sealing an undefeated season at the weekend.

There's been minor rumours of a double promotion due to way we've won most of our matches, but whatever happens we're all looking forward to playing a better standard next season.

Only 7 months to go chaps...

Obviously the season has had its positives, finishing undefeated is a great feeling as we'll probably never manage it again but it's also been incredibly tedious at times. We've chased in all but 3 games with the highest target set being 172 - whilst winning is great it's not quite as exciting when you're chasing 120 every game! (Proper 1st world problem I know haha)

Following yesterday's long day pleased to be back home after spending 40 minutes on the  operating table  and being awake throughout while the surgeon removed the infected tissue from under the skin which contained the foreign bodies off the helmet grill and then  stitched the skin from by my eyebrows to near the tip of the nose to form a flap and applied over 50 stitches to hold it in place.
This morning my face looks a right mess nose is painful and both eyes have limited vision due to swellings
Can't look down as the wound bleeds through the  stitches now i have to sit still and wait for everything to heal which should take around 6 weeks.
