Looks as though both sides really have decided to save there cash considering both Smith and Warner will be back next year.

RR going after Klassen is interesting as that would mean they have 3 keepers in their squad - Butler, Samson and him.

People saying Amla for a replacement - he has committed to being Hampshire's overseas for the 1st 3 months of the season so i think that probably runs him out.

Pretty sure he’d signed for a club over here as the overseas for the season as well, sure I read it online somewhere

Although starc isn’t in the title....... as he’s “injured”


Tom Curran has been called up as his replacement in the ipl. Another gig for an Englishman!

I read it that they are holding a meeting amongst the counties so that this situation - two players being taken once it is too late to secure replacements - cannot happen in future.  The ECB are very keen for Willey to go as they don't see him as a red ball player at international level, so its a fair accomplit.  Rather sad when three weeks ago Yorkshire backed out of chasing Morne Morkel, who has previous with us, because Moxon wanted to back his English bowlers.

I'd have a rant but its not worth it.
