Hey guys,
(A little background information)
I've been making cricket bats for a little over a year back in Australia buying English Willow clefts from Pakistan, and then handcrafting it myself to make a bat.
Since my parents are from Sri Lanka, I realised there is no Cricket bat manufacturers are over there, so I packed up my things and moved to Sri Lanka make cricket bats.
Everything was going well until my supplier did a runner on me, and is making life very difficult for my business at the moment (He refused to use Paypal, since it was banned in Pakistan). And right now I have no suppliers of clefts at the moment. I have invested a lot of money into my dream of becoming a bat maker in Sri Lanka, and would destroy me to see everything go to a waste.

So if anyone out there that knows a supplier of English willow clefts or if you are an English willow cleft Merchant (From the UK). Could you guys be kind enough to send me an email, to help me out, I don't have large funds at the moment to buy in bulk. But just for the time being I can buy a small quantity and then hopefully work my way up the chain again.

I would deeply appreciate your generosity of helping me. It would truly mean a lot.

You might want to reach out people like JS Wright or Hell4Leather or Rob Pack and Kippax.

I would think Kippax might your best bet as H4L and Rob Pack have access to their own trees/clefts but I am not sure if they supply them and JS Wright might have a huge min order.

Thanks mate, I have sent Kippax an email but they havent got back to me. Will try out Hell4Leather and Rob Pack.
JS Wright said they have a huge waiting list.

Use the phone, call Kippax and H4L there are definitely a good bet.
Also @Tom isn't there another willow supplier in Suffolk? Green something?

hey mate,

At the moment I'm looking to grab about  20-30 clefts. Just trying to find some cash from the bats I sell and going to court to recover the cash I've lost.

Hey mate, rang H4L a few times, no response. Kippax said they've got contracts in India so they cant send it to me :(
