Morning, anyone have a decent contact for these guys, have a bat a mate got from them (now in Oslo) which has split through what very much appears. - to my untrained eye - to be storm damage.

Ok cheers, he sent a main a week or so ago and hadn’t had any response yet so just wondered if there might be a better way.

It’s a pretty open and shut case, made pretty complicated by disatance :)

GCCC generally take their time to reply by virtue of their size and the amount of enquiries they receive. However, I will PM the direct email I had when I made a warranty claim.

Cheers, maybe more patience is required.

For anyone who likes sad sights. Only a grade 3 but had an amazing grain structure for a G3.

As someone who works in IT, I never find it acceptable that they can go a full day without a response, let alone a week.

Buggers want it sent back for examination before they will admit it is storm damage.

Would understand if it was in doubt but surely those photos are a clear cut as it comes.

I don't think you could break a bat in that way through misuse even if you tried.

I don't think its storm damage. I think it's a terrible handle fit!! Even so it deserves an instant replacement and it's a shame GCCC are saying they wont do it without seeing the bat.

Could be right, either way it's a clear material/manufacturing fault.

The lad at my club uis still in touch with them so hopefully they'll see sense, but it's in clear contrast to GM who could have been helpful enough when similar happened to one of their bats that had been bought in N.
