Bairstow doubtful for the first Test with an ankle ligament injury.

Football is a great warm up for cricket, isn't it...

The ageless Herath what legend he became, incredible considering he had to wait so long to become the star man

England’s chances of winning the test series just got a lot better.
Then again rain is looking the likely winner - can’t see 5 days worth of play given they’ve struggled to complete 100 overs

Bit odd to go midway through a series, is that his home ground or something?

He needs 1 wicket for 100 at that ground - probably got something to do with it.

It's the ground he made his debut on, so perhaps it's a sentimental decision

Murali also retired mid series, no? Seems like he was never going to play all three anyway...

Murli had already decided to retire after that match. Some asked him to stay till he takes 800 wicket but lucky for him he managed to achieve that in his last match.

Happy ever after

Anyone else tired of Hussein always talking about mark wood's pace, he's bowling 85-87mph. "extra yard of pace"
