Cheers, was hunting around in the RI section of the forum for a good 10 minutes wondering what I was doing wrong.

Ive got one from John at Red Ink and its bang on what my match bat is like. Unfortunately it pings a touch better too, such a shame it wasnt full size!

Just wondering if any of you guys use one in nets? Looking into getting something along these lines, any recommendations? Cheers
Good to use in the “ spinners’ net “ without pads to get you to have the courage to use your feet. Helps teach you to run at the spinners and pick gaps rather than trying to big all the time.
My favourite use (stump is good enough really ) is to throw a shaved tennis ball at a brick wall to get pace and bounce  in preparation to face decent quicks. I grew up in Perth.
Hope that is of use.

Surely a good reason to get a full size version!

Interestingly (or not) one of my club mates (who scores all the runs) just takes the stump out of the ground and uses that if he thinks he isn't middling everything.

Didnt the great Don Bradman use a stump and a golf ball - probably saw a cricket ball like a football when he batted!

Actually just found this - never seen it before but look at the size of what he is using  :o
