What's stunning about it? 6 grains. Far from a clean blade. Shape looks pretty generic. Why would you not buy something from a more established brand at a cheaper price?

What is wrong with 6 grains ?

I do agree that it's not the best looking piece of willow in the world, but surely beauty is in the eye of the be-holder.

Also does it really matter if it goes like a gun ?

Nothing is wrong with 6 grains, but I'm glad you agree it hardly looks stunning. In my opinion there is a lot better value out there - if you like 6 grains and blemishes on the face of your bats then I can point you in the direction of plenty of brands who stock similar for around half the price.

If you're buying a bat on eBay, how would you know it was a gun?

Bought a Spyder off here once, was a decent bat. Wouldn't pay that money for one second hand though, especially as I don't think they're all that dear in the first place.

If it was a Kaizen Pro,i think shop price would be alot more than £175,but hence that`s the risk of purchasing on ebay !.....maybe worth the Virgin Train fare up there to hand inspect before purchase

What would you recommend for £175 out of interest,Tom ?..............don`t see much around that price point nowadays

re GM,will do as seem to have alot of fans on here but as i stated in a previous post, have played south of Milton Keynes for 35 odd years now,and can count the number of their bats seen on one hand,so maybe stigmatised !

GM are flavour of the month on here that's for sure and difficult to argue on the Signiture for value for money. I've had one from someone on here last year and it was ok but i sold it as fancied trying something different. Outside of GM and going against the current 'forum trend', I'd spend all of the budget of £175 and get a performance grade from Blank Bats, well made and great performance. Outside of that I'd suggest looking at a butterfly from Aldred or Vulcan cricket maybe?

If ur not far from Milton Keynes? Then I would suggest going to see John at Red Ink, lots of good vibes on here about service and quality.

Where abouts are you? I’m sure we could arrange a visit if you wanted to talk bats and see what I can do for you
