NEW TKC & Luis Reece design
« on: November 25, 2018, 10:46:02 AM »

Morning all, sorry it’s been a while but I’m back.

We recently designed a new bat which is being used by TKC whilst playing for the England Lion and Luis Reece of Derbyshire. The bat was shared on social media this week and we’ve had quite a response.

Here it is for you to see...

Looking good Rich!

Any reasons TKC changed his shape?

The Pro’s are just like you and I, they pick up other bars in trading and see something slightly different which they want to try.

TKC has been using this shape since his 164 against Durham, which was the bats first ‘outing’

Pretty good reason to stick with it for a while. Looks beautiful.

I’ll get the CAD profile online tomorrow. Weights stat at 2’10 but the pickup feels great for that weight. It’s a close fit getting it through the gauge so will please those of us who still seek that big profile.

I don't know how to put this, but, I'm kind of a big deal.

Can this be done in a one stripe @2.9? 540mm blade full short handle length?

Asking for a friend ;)

I would honestly call B3 and get it going that way (assuming you can't visit). With all the variations they offer and expertise they have it is a better way to go and they'll have no problem sending on CAD profiles, etc or different variations of the same base profile (perhaps different incarnations of bats Finch has had made- the used one in the showroom is different again and an absolute beast).

Just to throw something else in to the mix, if anything ever happened to mine I would be keen to try a squarer toe next time just for the aesthetics along this lines of this from @sarg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jUqkqVV-QMU

That’s the video that convinced me love the shape. What weight is yours mate, what’s the pickup like?
