I've been playing and watching cricket for near enough 35 years and its in the top five catches of my lifetime.
What? It really wasn't that good. You see plenty of amazing diving one-handed boundary catches nowadays, many significantly harder and more athletic than that. I don't think it would even get into the top 5 catches I've seen in the last 12 months.
- and this is before we mention the fact that if he hadn't made a spectacularly bad read on the ball in the first place and started coming in when he should have been going back, he wouldn't have even had to dive.
