Jesus that is some recovery from Kent!

Yeah only the small matter of 346  :D from 39-5 to 385-6

Now onto 435-6 with Billings still going strong

Had to check this! Darren Stevens 40 plus back from a loan out to another team crashes a double ton and Kent are releasing him in a couple of weeks?

And....just read a statement from Kent’s coach saying ‘we are allowed to change our minds’

Regarding Stevens release... how good is that?

As a Kent fan it’s superb even at 43 we don’t have an all rounder like him and the old saying “age is just a number” he is proving it at the moment. God knows how he feels though as he is 5 years older then me and I’m in bits after a sat batting and keeping.

Do feel that he maybe a bit hard done by in never getting any international look in especially in picking players for English conditions. No one better with a keeper standing and able to move the ball both ways.
Also looking like Billings has recovered very well from his serious shoulder injury.

Somerset are 8 down, trailing Hampshire by 124.
Meanwhile Essex have bowled Surrey out for 174.

The title race is alive!
It could be a winner takes the Championship when Somerset play Essex at Taunton next week.

...as a white rose supporter, the season has been a few months too long already

Must have the orginal Larry Grayson as our batting coach, and the decision not to plump for an overseas batsman at the start of the season, was risable.
Got Lucky with Maharaj, but the current Kiwi, please ....our recruitment is embarassing

Apart from Gaz B,batting has been pathetic, and how many starts does Lyth want ?? ..honestly,i`d bin him and bring Leesy back, all county bowlers know he`ll give it up after getting in,batting herecy

Bowled in two innings going at over run a ball for no wickets so far hasn't he? Suppose New Road in September was never likely to be a good match was it, poor bloke.
