T20 is a sprint not a marathon! Needs some aggressive players if were going to chase down the totals set which seem to be steadily rising...160 odd as an avergae score etc etc.

Or just have Denly OR Trott at one end for a nice solid foundation, and have aggressive players at the other end, who can bat round him!
A good start is pretty important! KP was slow, but I guess he's trying to find some form again!
Prior or Kieswetter for keeeper? Hmmmm - Kieswetter is seriously starting to make a case for himself!!
Prior had better watch his back!

I know, if we cant beat our own B team, who can we beat?
Wouldnt read in to it to much, its a nothing t20 friendly. Bowlers bowled, batsmen batted and fielders fielded. Im sure the england managment will be more than happy with the days work

And even Swanny was outbowled by Rashid in this game!
Would always take Swanny before Rashid though, although wouldn't it be nice to have 2 decent quality spinners/batsmen in the side sometimes!???

And yes - a friendly it may have been, but I suspect that some of the Lions wanted to prove a point here, and get noticed!?

to be fair prior is streets ahead than kieswetter in ever department yes he lacking form at the moment but there no way on this planet kieswetter is a better batsman never mind gloveman and at this both are pretty average.

have you seen kieswetter keep it is not pretty at all not saying never but not yet and maybe give keiswetter a chance at one day stuff but there no way in the tests remember prior averages 40 last time i checked he is up there with the very best/keeper averages

I would agree that Prior is a class batsman when he's on form. But Kieswetter is a class batsman too - the question is whether or not he is capable of upping the level to International standard!?
But totallly disagree about best Prior being better gloveman! At best Prior is average! He has certainly improved in 2009 through pure hard work!
And has become a decent keeper. But there are questions about whether his batting has suffered as a result??

But Kieswetter is showing a lot more raw talent and potential behind the stumps that Prior ever has.
Ok - so Foster is a better gloveman, and Davies prob deserves a chance too. But I wouldn't dismiss Kieswetter just yet!

to be fair i not dismissing him just saying he is not a good gloveman watched him a few times last season not impressed at all and to say he a better gloveman than prior well that cricket opinion.

another name for the mix Phil Mustard much better gloveman than both prior and kieswetter but were is he now??

Mustard had a good season last year but lacked form towards the end (with the bat that is)

I guess that they just thought that onions and mustard were a bad mix!  :(
Seriously i am surprised that he is not considered for t20 matches! He is aggressive and hard hitting! And decent gloveman!!
So a little out of touch - but could be considered if he gets himself back in form!
