£450 according to Insta, so roughly Halestorm/Pro Performance/Players Edition price.

450x33= £14,850 for 33 bits of wood. Not bad going really!

So these were released for sale yesterday and according to their Twitter account last night there was only one left, now looks like that one has gone now. So sold out within 24 hrs.

When I saw these were coming out have to say I thought pricing would be around the 750 mark. It's very successful for GN and in the current market where bat prices are very high they have got the timing and price just right, or you could say should of been priced higher as they are all gone in a flash !

Any bat called 'Excalibur' that still has it's shoulders, is an abomination!!

I was surprised that they weren't priced higher given the limited stock, not that I am suggesting it represents value for money

Did anyone on here get one, would be great to see what they get and plans for it - use or keep in box as collectors item (which a few on Twitter seem to be planning)

Once Gray-Nicolls have your dough I doubt they even care what you do with it, I bet the majority will be unused and sat in collections

From the pics I saw the other day of it I wasnt impressed, the shape was pants and it had concaving. Not only that it was copying the Aussie sticker style on the back.

A deffo pass for me

Horrific styling, all current models have been designed for U14`s but GN missed a trick here as potential punters will be of a certain demographic, won`t they, and prefer more minimalistic branding ????

sure they`ll fly out so what do GN care,i guess

I've felt for some years that GN missed a real trick in not having a Cook signature range, aligned in a similar way that Ponting was to the Kahuna. Always felt the Oblivion should have been Cook's signature bat...

I think the name of the bat is from the 90's when Nasser used it,maybe robin smith(or both).

Cook stayed loyal to GN yes you might of thought during or after the Ashes away where he got thousands of runs they might of stuck his name on a model. Oblivion I think he used during that period.

I remember GN for bring out the AC630 during his career.  I am not sure many would want an exact replica of his bat given that he had the top shoulder of the bat cut off.

Cryptic mate -  did you buy one, in which case please share some pics, or do you know someone who did?
