If you are going to do that - try using a middling bat and taking on the hook... that sorts the men from the boys!!
Actually on second thoughts, you might want to give it a miss. However being, serious, if you are using a bowling machine regularly, using a middling bat, like this

Most people when using a bowling machine just get used to where the ball is going to pitch and after about 3 balls start playing the shot before the ball is bowled, which ceases to be any sort of decent practice... it becomes like using a driver on the range you end up seeing how hard to can hit the ball at the expence of any kind of technique...
When you do start connecting with the hook with a middling bat at 75+mph you really are watching the ball.
