Payntr shoes MK3 Evo
« on: March 26, 2019, 05:09:21 PM »

This has to be THE WORST PIECE OF HUMAN EXCREMENT OF A SHOES that I have EVER worn.

so they removed the traditional tongue and tried to copy the new trend to make shoe look like a pair of socks.

And in the effort, they flunk SO BAD that you wouldn't want to give these shoes even to your enemies.

The shoes are so FREAKING tight RIGHT in the middle that you will scrape your foot skin if you would wear them for 1 minute.

So to start off, there is choke in the opening and you must shove your foot in that lil hole.

To surpass that, (yes I tried to contact payntr before taking this step), I made a slight incision and cut both sides to create a better opening.

It helped but the actual problem is where the seam meets the top portion of the shoes right in the MIDDLE. It's so freaking TIGHT that you feel like having 100 rubber bands wrapped around your foot.

I went ahead said - EFF IT !! and cut through the seam too, and this is where I ended up where foot stays somewhat comfortable but obviously, the shoes look laughable now.

I would've not done any of this to these shoes, and I would've not made this post IF I EVER heard back from Payntr. But several emails and inquires were ignored and left unanswered.

I think Payntr customer service is worst than CA - because CA at least takes the courtesy and replies back to you a couple of times before hanging your ass on the ignore button.

Before I toss them in trash, enjoy the pics.

So you recommend them then?

Yep, two pairs. You know, always have the back-up.

I agree opening is pretty small but so far I have had good experience. I have used it once and it felt amazing. I will keep you posted with my experience as I use them more.

If they didn’t fit, why didn’t you just return them ?

Only if their customer service replies back to acknowledge and process the refund.

I could've lived with the small opening but my main issue is the freaking narrowness right in the middle of the shoes where the seam makes the arch.
The length seems OK, but the width is absolutely horrible.

I know I am regular U.S. size 10 and I have a number of sneakers that size which fit pretty good, but these are a great disappointment.

I love mine. Just went a size up after reading the comments on the forum.
I’m a 10. Bought an 11. Fit beautifully.

I generally just return brand new items that dont fit rather than take a knife to them

Maybe after you've got through to Payntr you should also call a doctor for a chat

think they do not fit great to certain foot types, my housemate is an 11 (is flat footed and his feet are oldly thin) i am a 10 and i don't have any issues with my feet - he brought a pair of 11s and loves them - i can't even get my foot into them!!!!

Sorry mate but this did make me chuckle. They should have responded and I've actually seen a few people on Twitter before say their service has been really good, so looks like you've been unlucky. However I'm not sure I would have ever gone to these measures, you have to admit its a little extreme and means any chance of a refund or resale is zero.

I had the mk2s last year and they are very tight to get on but once on and not tied too tight they're fine. However every foot is different so they may not be for everyone. Would I recommended them? Not particularly. Would I hack them to death with a knife in a fit of rage? Absolutely not!  :D Hope you find something which works.

Witty.

In all seriousness - this was how Ted Bundy started off. Talk to someone please

I have to agree with the review, the Payntr brand is the worst cricket shoe that I have ever come across.  He obviously has some financial backing to persist with this, but when you are trying to break into a market with companies of the size and expertise of Adidas and New Balance putting out quality products, it is a difficult market to get a foot hold in.

No pun intended and sounds like they do plenty of foot holding if not too much :D

Can they honestly be that bad? I have never tried a pair myself but it seems odd that Mr Vaughan has got involved if the product is naff?

Do they possibly recommend one size up from normal?
