Whack Sports to the rescue
« on: May 09, 2019, 06:16:26 PM »

I have been after an Australian GN Ultimate for my best friend, who has done me a huge favour.  I searched the internet for sports shops in OZ that stock the GN Ultimates, and came across WHACKSPORTS, who were having an end of season sale.  After a number of emails back and forth, I paid the required amount and prayed that I would get something more than a plank.  Whacksports were fantastic, very helpful and after hearing our problems with import duty they reduced the value of the bat on the shipping documents to $20, which meant I paid NO import TAX. Within less than 10 days the bat arrived at my door.  I was so please with the bat the next day I ordered myself a GN Prestige

Aussie GN bats always look the business.

Its unfortunate they cost an arm and a leg to get them over to the UK. Always fancied a bat from down under

You won't be disappointed, I got my prestige for an absolute steal around Christmas time, they are ridiculously good value for money.

Hi,

how do you make the handle thicker without adding too much weight?

I have tried to put another grip on but the handle/pickup hasn't improved much.

You could use tape, or have another layer of binding added.

Generally speaking, you won't usually feel weight in the handle from a pick up perspective, and if it's pick up you're looking to improve, the more weight towards the handle the better. Another layer of binding would be my recommendation.
