Bairstow's omission would have been less surprising had Foakes been included. Foakes has had a poor season with the bat, mind you.
Richard Gleeson was the name on everyone's lips last year. His 41 wickets at 21 this season compare very favourably to Mahmood's 21 at 31.I know stats don't always tell the full story, but I thought it might be a talking point?
