Picks up great to me mate, but all subjective obviously. There's plenty all the way up the blade and in the shoulders, so it's balanced nicely.
The sweat spot/middle is around 180mm from the toe, so not stupidly low either. This is my prefered shape/weight/pick up, so would be happy keeping this one

Shaped up this Grade 2 today. Lovely bit of willow with graping right in the middle and it really pings off it. Just goes to show that loads of grains, no blemishes, doesn't always equal top performance. This one really goes! Big bat at what will be 2lb 11 oz finished but picks up so well.

Let me know what you think...

Been working on this today. Customer wanted something similar to his current his stick, which is the top one I've started refurbing. The bottom one is the copy after its first stage sand, currently 2lbs 10 3/4oz
Let me know what you think...

Looks bloody Massive mate from side on. Also looks to be a lovely mid - mid/high middle top work. Looks like we have a few quality new bat makers on here now which is great to see

Looks a good copy mate, definitely prefer the second bat (the one you made) to the first.
