Rajasthan once again sign up Unadkat, but no more million dollar payday - $420,000. Seems generous for a pretty mediocre bowler.

Yeah, feel like that's a smart buy.

Why am I convinced some team is going to pay stupid money for Hetmyer again

That KKR team looks as solid as can be. Can't see them not appointing Morgan as captain either...

A Guyanese big hitter that’s incredible against spin will always go for big money - has an incredible record in India as well. Went for roughly $1.1m.

When you’re a foreign player you hope a franchise suitable to your game signs you up.

For example Chris Lynn, huge hitter and hapless against spin. Mumbai should be right up his street.

Really don't understand Curran at CSK: unless you're Bravo or Watson you don't get in that team as an all-rounder. Besides look at all our other English players who have gone there and barely (No Swearing Please) played; Willey, Wood, Billings etc
He'll get a nice payday, same as others before him. Don't believe a word of it when they start talking about 'improving their game', English players go backwards at the IPL often as not.

Far too much money for Curran in my opinion, some flat decks and small grounds and lack of pace, cant see it going to well

90 runs in 5 innings at 18 in last years competition
214 runs in 9 innings at 23 in 9 T20Is in India (also playing Afghanistan)

His ODI numbers in India are more respectful at just under 44 with two hundreds, but I still regard it as too much money

Granted his t20 numbers aren’t as good as his ODI numbers. But RCB is pretty much the VK and AB show. They never utilise their other players properly.

I think Hetmyer will enjoy Delhi more especially as Ponting isn’t one to go easy on his players. Additionally he may well enjoy playing with the likes of Shaw, Pant etc

Yes, much money for Curran. Slow pitch in Chennai would help. CSK also picked Piyush Chawla for a million.
