Hybrid Sweatband
« on: December 19, 2019, 04:44:50 PM »

Few people have been helping with feedback to help with the product which is brilliant from a product development point of view.

Some have asked for a longer version (some preferred the first batch of 4 inch one and some like the branded 5 inch one). These will be unbranded and 6 inches long to cover the majority of your forearm when worn with your batting gloves.

They are due to reach me on Christmas Eve so I’ll try and get a batch knocked up before new year as they can be pre-ordered online now.

Fresh batch of these arrived today, 6 inches long and unbranded. Cover the majority of the forearm.

I’ll be knocking up a batch over Xmas in time for new year if anyone wants to get in early and pre-order via the webshop (thanks to those that have already 😊).

Managed to sneak out to the office to knock up a couple of samples this afternoon...

I've got stock of the 4 inch stubby in black now and have a fresh batch of the 4 inch and 6 inch white version arriving towards the middle of next week having sold out of both currently.

Really impressed with my six inchers.

After copping a ball on the thigh which just missed my inner thigh, I feel you should next experiment with circle shorts made entirely from D3O.

Funnily enough I’ve had a few pros asking about various bots as well which was why a care package from D3O reached me last week...

Quite common in the action sports world already, although it might be tricky to find a pair which padded exactly the right areas for cricket.

Yeh hence the search for something that can be adapted from the extreme sports/motorcycle market to suit the cricket needs with more localised areas of protection 👍

Dug through the garage looking for waterproofs yesterday and found this...

Who needs d30 anyway...

Rolling back the years, I got asked when I got did them and had to dig back through CBF to work out it was in 2009. That will have poron inside of it from the original batch I did, found a few of the original black ones for comparison the other day too.

Looking at this again, how does the poron foam compare to d30?

Testing my memory here but the Poron was thinner, D3O has superior impact absorption properties over it.

Ive worn one over my apple watch while batting to record a workout. Works well, although i haven’t tested if it would save the watch.

Seems most of the England squad went for the Super Size 6 inch version 👍

Looking forward to using this as xl one a good version
