I forwarded my email onto warsopbat@googlemail

Another question. Does the Long handle actually make a difference? I measured it at about half an inch longer. and it feels no different in my hands

I am 6'3 and can use SH, LH, or LB sized bats without any real change to stance!
LH bats are better for the 6 foot 2+ batter really?

How much do re-handles generally cost?

I think that rehandle cost around £30 depending on where you go.
But at 6 foot you're on the border line I reckon.

As procricket said, see if it alters your stance? If so, then could be worth rehandling the bat. But if its only 1cm or so, then it may not make any difference.  :)

Ok, i had a look the the M&H website for a general idea and they charge £43!

The handle on my short handle is just under 12 inches and the Long handle in about 12 and a half inches

Overall length is short handle 85cm and long handle near enough 87cm

I got in my stance with my SH and then changed bats without moving and it doesn't feel too different

Pete I'm 6ft 2 and I use a SH, I've never really used a LH. I stand with the bat between my legs but does a LH really make that much a difference?

Had an email back, they want pictures to check the authenticity. So i sent them. but can't see the pictures properly on their blackberry. have included pictures of the handle sticker and stamp. They need to look at them on a computer

They have offered to cut the handle down to size rather than re-handling for £30

Right, had a final email with costs.

£30 to cut the handle down to SH length. Repair the toe damage and re-sticker.

+ £8.50 postage back to me

+ postage to get the bat to them probs around £6

total of £44.50 roughly.

Do you think it is worth it. Would be clearing me out until wages next month.

Liam I'd trust Tony and his advice and whatever you feel comfortable with but yep right in the respect of cutting the handle down to size and you cant get the stickers from anywhere else

The Long handle will change the pickup but it depends on where you hold it.  If you hold it in the same position as the SH the only thing you'll need to content with is the extra bit hanging out at the top

I hope that helps
