Anyone heard of Jazba on pro direct? Looks like the top model have the boa style closure.

https://www.prodirectcricket.com/lists/cricket-shoes.aspx?brand=jazba

I was curious about them too, and did some research. Seems like they are chinese based (very surprising to come from a non-cricketing nation)
https://www.linkedin.com/company/jazba/

Will cricket bats from China be next - mass produced G1s at GBP 50 ??

They’ve sure brought something different to the market initially, however know a lot of guys had foot and ankle issues using them. Anyone on here had anything similar?

The Mk2 were just about the most comfortable cricket shoes I’ve ever worn. No issues with sole comfort. The only issue I had was the cushioning material, which wore out very quickly around the inside of the big toe when bowling (I drag my back foot in delivery stride). The only shoes that have given me foot issues were the early Adidas shoes (around 2006-7) with the red stripes on the front. The natural bend on the soles was nearer the mid foot, and caused me a stress fracture. Awful shoes!

Only issue I had was that the fit is very snug, easily solved by getting a slightly larger size than usual.

That's quite an interesting kit you're rocking there, is that a T20 special?

In regards to injuries, I did notice that all of Payntr's range say they are not suitable for bowling in which is not something I've seen from any other brand which makes me wonder how much testing they did into the support provided during running, twisting etc.

I suspect thats why their range is now looking more like every other shoe... Probably that and a combination of trying to bring the manufacturing costs down.

I did quite like their original designs as they clearly stood out but I have used Asics for along time and now when ever I try something new it never quite matches up so have decided to just stick with them now.

I have The mk2's spikes , very comfy. Sadly the shoe was very prone to splitting.
I have the mk3 pimples, same size, but the fit on the sole/heel for me is terrible.

As with any committed kit badger, I was quite excited to see something new come to the market but these shoes are a huge dissapointment.

Ultimately they are trying to build a product from scratch to.compete with some huge companies with massive development budgets and a wealth of experience

Last years were up there with the very best cricket shoes I’ve ever worn, and I didn’t care that I was wearing a shoe that not many had heard of. This years are totally different. It’s almost as if the company has been sold and they’ve shifted production to the cheapest factory they could find. A huge disappointment.

Did anyone try the Bodyline 124 Batting/Keeping model last year?

Really loved my Mk3's last season and like the look of the 124's but a bit put off by the lack of half sizes as normally take a half in most things.
