Has anyone tried these? Any good? They look a lot less bulky than normal pads

At first glance they dont look like they wrap around the leg enough to me. Not sure id be filled with confidence some of the positions I get into!

Might just be the angle

They are very light but quite stiff. The width is ok for normal people but some might prefer more wraparound protection.

The thigh pads on the other hand are the best value for money.

They look a bit like the pads Shaun Tait used to use. The ball used to spring off them like you’d flushed a straight drive! I think they were called Obo, which became Aero if I’m not mistaken?

I have a pair of aeros and they are superb, the stiffness never bothered me and protection is superb. They weigh next to nothing.

Just look a bit odd and invite a lot of sledging (especially when you are making runs)

^ I heard things a few times when I started using my Aeros but not so much lately. I think my Ayrtek helmet got more comments than my Aeros.

I had both at one stage :-(((

Top quality kit but made you look rather peculiar and really stick out

You have to make runs or have very thick skin if you're going to wear something like that - I'll pass given my erratic run scoring ability!

Just ordered a pair from Online Stockist. Special reduced price because they messed up one item in my last order.

Here's a picture of the whole outfit by the way :

... Not expecting any sledging with this.

Just need to start scoring some serious runs. Maybe there'll be lots of leg byes pinging off these super-pads.

Chances are they may end up being too small for me, so may end up selling them on here.
