With the Rugby Six Nations deciding to cancel the Ireland vs Italy game due to the Coronvirus issue in northern Italy. I was wondering if the ECB would say something regarding the Sri Lanka tour and the Cricketer have just written this piece on it.

The FCO doesn’t seem unduly worried about Sri Lanka at the moment. There have been one case in SL, a Chinese tourist who was quarantined pretty much immediately. It is believed they are on top of the situation. My wife is heading to SL for a day next week, and part of her day will be to ascertain what the SL government is saying in public is the same as what’s actually happening.

I don't know if it's frustrating that Wood has moved from ankle injuries to side strains, but I'm not in the least bit surprised about it.

Shame about Wood, bet he's annoyed and would love to be fit.

Nice to read that these types of checks are being carried out, considering their reasonable proximity. I did a headline search on the Government of Sri Lanka's website for Corvid-19 and Coronavirus and no results came back which did surprise me a little.

No sign of people worrying about coronavirus over here. I guess it could change in a couple of weeks?

I believe it is now 'elbow bumping' as even fisting is not allowed in the England camp any more.

No handshakes but they'll continue to spit and sweat on the ball and hand it round?

England side for the second warm up game:

crawley, sibley, denly, root, pope, stokes, buttler, curran, woakes, bess, leach

looks like the XI that will line up for the first test to me

Another big warm up score for Crawley, he's starting to look like a very special player.

Starting to look like the player his potential is promising, certainly starting to look good, hoping he can translate this into meaningful test knock

With Sibley getting his maiden ton in South Africa and looking the part as a Test opener and Crawley now starting to get scores, is Burns guaranteed an immediate recall?
