Even doing it from home involves a delivery company/postman making the journey to collect your items, to then take those items halfway across the country/world, to then deliver to a customer at the other end. All at the same time as these companies are being needed to deliver actual vital equipment/packages to ensure the public's safety. The amount of resource involved in delivering even one simple parcel is far beyond what most realise (without even starting to consider the 'what if' should one of the people in this chain be carrying the virus).
I know I'm getting into the nitty gritty and some might say this is taking things to an excessive level, but my 'other job' helps make my decision in this respect. Ultimately I'd rather take no unnecessary risks and ensure all my customers/fiancée/unborn child are subject to the least amount of risk possible during this.
