So - I�ve seen some comments Around the REAPER branding and the labels etc. Both me and the other guy involved agreed it was in need of a refresh - so we got in touch with a designer and here is a sneak peak of the new logo and design.

While the stickers are being sent to the printer today, I�m going to hold fire on releasing those until we have them in hand.

Any thoughts welcome as always.

This one is a copy of the GN powerbow6 for a well known brand:

Then this one is the pro grade stick made up a couple of days ago that has since been finished

Have you given any thought to doing a slightly less cartoon style logo option? Maybe a similar art style to what Phantom do?

We have considered it - but we also wanted to stay true to the original branding.

I think if you look at H4L for example, their logo is IMO one of the best around and it�s a cartoon stylised devil - we wanted to go along a similar route.

Here is the old one:

It�s asymmetrical and in my mind a bit fussy with the teeth and just generally a bit outdated.

Definately prefer the new one, thought it's probably still not for me (though I'll reserve judgement until we see the stickers)

Might just be me but I'm usually a bit wary of brands with a big union jack anywhere, probably just reminds of of some of Aldreds crrowds leanings.

Thanks mate - I prefer the new one too.

The Union Jack won�t be huge - but it�s there because handmade in the U.K. is a big selling point for us especially as we will control the whole process from cleft to bat.

A few refurbs and weight reductions finished today!

These were lovely bats to work with.

First one wanted a dhoni style toe and a general clean up,

Second was just a refurb,

And the last one was a weight reduction on a CA.

Some very exciting things in the works my end - with my new workshop almost up and running in the very near future I will be controlling the whole process of cleft to bat.

I am hoping to have the whole lot up and running in a week to 10 days so that�s always exciting!

Will share some pictures once it�s all ready.

Things are really starting to ramp up here at REAPER HQ.

Our handle order has arrived, one of our sticker designs are going to be here tomorrow and then another next week or so. Our cleft order going in next week, and the 2nd workshop is almost done - had to build new doors for it!

In between all of that we have refurbs coming out of our ears and a lot of bat orders on as well.

Got 3 to make up for a brand that frequent this forum, and then another for a new start up brand as well.

3 new sticks shaped up today.

One is a stunningly light butterfly, that is currently available to buy - this will finish up just under 2.10 once sanded and finished and the spine more or less fills the bat gauge. Available for �165. Drop me a message if you are interested.

Then the other 2 are for a brand that I have made a few bats for now. One for the owner himself that is a copy of a keeley superior, weighs just 2.6.9 in its current state and absolutely flies!

The other, a long blade kohli shape copy. This will be 2.10 finished.
