Hi,

I saw a tweet from Talent cricket the other day about Salix pads. Looks like three new designs for this year. They look very minimalist and plain which I like, from the pictures. The Pod and possibly SLX appeal to me (not needing the highest level of protection, which I think is overkill for most people, unlike top protection gloves).

Has anyone seen them in the flesh?
Size wise, do they come up small (like Gray Nicolls)?
Has anyone weighed any of them? I saw an IJC review (Youtube) of Alma pads from 3 or 4 years ago, and they had weighed them at 830gms,which is quite light (albeit not the top of the range pad/ protection).

Anyone used previous Salix pad incarnations who can comment on quality/ comfort?
Any feedback gratefully received.

I�ve seen the final samples that were on display at the workshop, as the delivery of finished softs hadn�t arrived before shut down, the sizing on the pads comes up as normal I would say. The weight difference between the Pod and AJK was minimal. They are both as you can imagine top quality products though.

I did the same. Really liked the softs. My wallet was saved by the fact they had not arrived. The bag was really good. Iwas lucky they forgot to inform me before sending my bat or id have less money.
