Hi all, just a little update on a few bats iv made since the new year, abs these show off the 3 stock shapes nicely I feel, with a range that caters for most

EH21 profile is the new for 2022 spine into the toe shape, mid/low middle, light concaving

SL06 is the most popular shape and very much the on trend shape, mid/high middle, duck bill toe, traditional round toe shape, big abs full in profile.

AM18 is shorter blade longer handle, mid middle, square modern toe, very light concaving

Morning all, hope your all looking forward to winter nets and the season being 8 weekends away now (well for me anyway).

If you like anything you see please get in touch and as always and feedback or questions you want to know please just ask.

Just thought I would share a few of the bats iv made in the last month or so.
This is the new for 2022 EH21, standard SH blade and handle with a spine into the toe and mid middle, with some concaving aimed at the player that wants a light weight bat

The popular SL06 duck bill profile mid middle

Also invested in some new mops and new polisher to finish is now even better than it’s ever been,

Few refurbs completed this week been offering all refurbs for £20 excluding re-handles as Feb offer and been very popular

Most popular Grade I sell is G3 as offers fantastic performance abs often good looking clefts as well at this price point, here is a couple that have been made up this week.

Including my new 2022 wand

Looking superb.

The clean ups look top notch.

The fresh bats have a nice flow to the shapes.

Cheers @Alvaro for your comments, the puma was a bit of a pig as it had the worst quality scuff sheet iv ever seen but the vintage Puma was stunning UK made which I believe was made by an old forum sponsor when they made for puma, just a shape that’s not “cool” any longer in the mainstream market

Top work mate. Your new stick looks nice, so hope it scores you plenty.

Not surprised refurbs have been popular at £20! 😆

Just keeps me busy mate and has been a way to attract and promote locally. It’s been great to meet and get to know a few players that have reached out that iv seen around but never really spoken to. If you have to post to me and then pay to have it sent back it’s still inline with most others but from the 12 or so I had this month 10 have been local and 8 new customers so been worthwhile. Covers cost of sanding discs and grip I guess lol

@SOULMAN1012 would say it looked very much like the duckbill model, said he got it in the last few months. was very impressed - even more so when he pulled 2 pairs of Plimmers WK gloves out of the bag.

Yes mate He played for Surrey CCC a few years back by all accounts, lovely G1 stick and could be very handy at Village level I’m going to guess.

@SOULMAN1012 yeah i think he played few 2's games back in the day. hes pretty useful for a surrey champ lower division player but i suspect the wickets might not be what hes used to.

Morning all, how everyone is well and gearing up for the start of the season next weekend, some maybe have even had some friendlies already.

Just a little update, been very busy the last month or so. New stickers are designed and being made, new softs, duffles have arrived and of course bats still going well.

This is the newest profile the SH21 which has been very popular over recent weeks, spine into toe profile. This one was 2.10 bank on 37mm edge and thick oval handle based on an older Newbery series 1. This is Grade 2

This was a nice custom job. SH width but Harrow length blade and handle for a young lad in Suffolks County set up. Thought being that when he grows a little no doubt by the end of this season it would be an option to just change handle over buying a new bat. And weight was also the other factor. This was 2lb 4oz with 32mm edges and minimal concaving. Grade 3

new kit, like a kid at Christmas
