I�ve just said on Facebook he seems to be a bit of a mercenary in that sense. Doesn�t stick with one brand for too long.

Tied in with the recent pictures of him using another brand's bat stickers up as GN I wonder? We all know this happens a fair bit, but I was surprised it was GN in this instance; I thought that contractually their players had to use GN bats.....

Not clear from the press release who instigated the split. Given the impact Covid will have had on revenues, one wonders how many player deals may be unaffordable

Seems to me he was let go rather than left, would assume it was his use of another makes bats, but we'll never know.

GN have quite a few younger England players plus those still in the public eye like Cook and Foakes-I doubt it's any skin of their nose not having Bairstow.

It would be nice to see some pros remain loyal but that may be an outdated view now,players can have a short career and it's understandable they want to maximise earnings.

Think he has overtaken Bell now thou on the number of different brands he has been contracted to

Likely on a big deal, less money around under covid, out of the test side. I�d imagine his lack of care in hiding using another brands bat is a long way down the list.

Could also be the case, especially short term in the IPL, would surprise me if he�s using an Indian brand, at least for the next month or so.

My money would be him using SS/TON. He has been back with GN for must be a couple of years and as has been said maybe with him losing his test place his contract was up and couldn�t agree on a new agreement or as has been said in this current climate all companies are feeling the pinch and i would imagine he was on a decent piece of change and just decided not viable.

Outside bet would be DSC as they seem to be throwing lots of money around over the past few years.

Ill send him an opportunity to be Willow & Wands first sponsored player but I doubt my offer of a pack of quavers and life time supply of ICE Gems will persuade him lol

Amazing, he's going to run out of sponsors by the time he retires at this rate. Presumably he'll get a good deal with a company happy to shell out in return for 6-12 months of exposure. My money's on DSC. Or perhaps Bairstow can break new ground and negotiate sponsorship on a series by series basis!
