Pro Issue Kookaburra Kahuna Players
« on: November 26, 2020, 04:27:34 PM »

Got my hands on this bat from a certain pro. He has had it refurbed, and needless to say it has a nice ping off the bat. Not the most aesthetically pleasing but it flies. It's about 2'9 and feels really nice in the hands, the middle is fairly high which suits me and it is a pretty modest profile for a "pro beast", but he only used for one day and red ball cricket really. I'm looking for some cricket bat stickers to chuck on this for the 2021 season, gutted the Kookaburra ones were taken off in refurbishment.

Needless to say, a very happy bunny with this!  :D

Kook used to refurb and offer with any sticker you wanted, provided it was a kook and sent to them. Not sure if that is still the case...

Didn't Rob Pack start out by doing refurbs while working at the Kookaburra warehouse?

Maybe the point he's making is that it doesn't have absolutely massive specs because it wasn't used for T20 and therefore big edges, etc weren't quite as important to the player?

Is T20 no longer considered a form of one-day cricket?

Yep

Wonder who does them now. Or we mustn't talk about it?

Given that 50 over games are called One Day Internationals I think the convention has shifted to using white ball cricket as the umbrella term.
