Glasses for cricket/exercise
« on: January 25, 2021, 06:04:10 PM »

Hi all

Just thought I’d check if you guys have any thoughts on the best frames for cricket and sport and leisure-apart from Oakleys- also, do you guys go in store or shop online? I’d prefer to go in store but realised that my recent prescription doesn’t have pupillary distance on.
I don’t get on with contact lenses these days..

Any help or advice much appreciated!

Best decision I made with mine was going into the opticians and asking very specific questions about what I needed. Pair I've ended up with have survived me getting hit in the face, getting a full kit bag dropped on them and 3 years of near constant use.

Think they're from a wholesaler that sells direct to smaller opticians, no obvious branding on them so couldn't tell you the name but the frame is reasonably thick and the catch on both the legs is a little bigger than most so they can take a bit of abuse. If you can speak to an optician I'd almost guarantee they'll have something similar in stock.

Yeah mate, I wear them as my every day glasses as well as cricket. Black frames so they do just fine for work too.

I've been using Naked Runner glasses for about 5 years. They are cycling and running specialists. Really good quality and not too expensive. I do wear mine with contacts, but they do prescription ones. Link below:
