It's nice that the championship is being discussed (and maybe even watched?). But it does not exist solely to produce England players; it is entertaining cricket in its own right.

Does someone have the link to live feeds of the ongoing matches? I found the one for Hants vs Leic and watched bits of the Vince masterclass yesterday.

One thing to note across all the matches is the lack of quality spinners on show! The conditions arent conducive for spin of course but the lack of quality highlights the fact that the cupboard is pretty much empty in terms of options.

It really is awful just how bare the cupboard is when it comes to decent spinners. Perhaps they’re scared of showing too much skill for fear of ending up on the ECB’s radar and becoming the next Adam Riley.

Great start for Middlesex here, but I reckon Lammonby has been hard done by. Looked on stream to hit the back pad rather than inside edge
