Good advice, will need to get them all out! Wouldn't be expecting much turn, if any. Planning to bowl eye line flight, and then see things go.

So, this is what luck is about! WPCC 3rd XI captain called in the morning to replace a drop out, what I accepted. As they were impressed with my bowling, most likely to play Saturdays and Sundays 🤞👍

my middle two fingers on both hands are very weak/sore from years of keeping and i use these on both hands to field - they are washable and have saved me taping my fingers up all the time:

Oh my God!
54 deliveries of concentration and precision, only to show 2 wickets for few runs!
I bowled better than last week, beating batters outside edge again and again and again!
Ran out of luck after 2 wickets!
By the way I've decided to only play for WPCC, Saturdays and Sundays!

Luck gets me playing in 2nd vs Old Whitgiftians!
Even though I didn't play a game for last 3 weeks, I've been netting.

I was hit 6 first ball and then 4 third ball!
Bowled without any luck! Keeper dropped an easy catch!
Last ball of my 9th over was hit for a 6!
Bowling figures 9 overs for 24 runs for no wicket!

Once again wicket-less, one dropped by the keeper and one spilt by the slip, who had hamstring, during batting.it was a low catch on his left side, he stopped with his foot, instead of trying to catch with his hand, which is his correct hand, as he's a left handed batsman.
Another catch dropped by the keeper later on, off other bowler and we had a winning draw!

Tried it but for some reason... It came out like the same as last week's, long, on the middle stump!  Was hit back, hit straight over the top of my head!
Think that when it's only my first finger that's the last point of release, it gets fuller than I like to, might be due less control 🤔

Some would say, hindsight, but I did say at the time that we should have more overs to bowl them out!

I said regardless how they go about the run chase, we have to bowl them out!
We didn't many runs in the last 5 overs!
For me that was a wasted opportunity!
At the end, last man comes in to face 1 delivery and survives!
Yes, next game is vs a team one place above us!
We have to win it, with all the luck.
Because week after is Beddington, which is going for promotion!
