Yes, as a sort of deconstructed Plunkett.

Pakistan get 331. Azam finds a pitch flat enough to get a dead rubber 158. Carse 5-61 & Mahmood 3-60

The rush to undermine achievement is baffling at times.

Surprised England didn't make a couple of changes but Mahmood and Carse have done themselves no harm for the future whether it's one day or tests.

Batting is a bit more tricky, the way we play suits Salt by the looks of it and Vince. It's a tough chase now thanks to a sublime knock by Azam.

This Brydon Carse looks like someone whom could force his way into the full time odi side.

Seen him talked about as the Plunkett replacement and I can see why after today. Handy with the bat by all accounts too.

Malan gone already. Perfect opportunity to try Jacks, blown away

Malan didn't hit it, but walked anyway.

The rumours him being a selfish anti team man now destroyed. Review remains in tact for someone else.

Quite like the look of Salt, if it's in his half he's smashes it.

Pakistan’s pop gun bowlers look decent when they stat pad against Bangladesh, Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka. Face England and you get found out.
Marvellous innings by Vince.

Seems like I was pretty much spot on.

You said it yourself. Flat pitch. So flat pitch, dead rubber, and pop gun bowling - not too marvellous an innings then? At least be consistent in your logic - why is Babars innings shrugged off, but not Vince’s?

Wonder what your comment would be if England lost this series. Flat track or not, appreciate both Babar's & Vince's innings.
