Can anybody tell me what this years players edition bats are and what stickers they will be using? Presume Vince Players Edition will now come with Chrome stickers rather than Icon? Thanks

They are on the GM Website: https://www.playwiththebest.com/cricket/new-2022-products.html

Haven't posted pics here as they're essentially the same as the last few years.

For the price increase to have a fading logo, last years look like the best option

For them prices I'd want my pads to have a deflection shield that prevented lbw.

£58 for a pair of 505 batting pads!!!

I’ve been very loyal to GM over the years and have bought a fair bit of their stuff as I thought they were sensible prices for good quality kit, but in recent years the pricing has got silly imho.

Original/Original LE bats were always something within the top end of a sensible budget but prices passing £450-500 is a joke for a piece of wood shaped by a machine.

Gotta pay those sponsorships somehow I suppose.

I don’t know but I suspect there will be significant companies increasing prices for all softs due to increase shipping costs and importation.

I guess if your thinking of paying over 150 for a set of pads whether they would last longer is a consideration, compared to the lower ranges.

Bit of an uninspiring collection really.

Looks like there are couple of changes to bat profiles.

The softs are essentially the same as last years, but of course, prices are up
