Wheelie Bag recommendations
« on: May 01, 2022, 04:38:08 PM »

Im on the hunt for a wheelie bag that can hold upto 4 bats. Any recommendations would be much appreciated. I can't be bothered with wheelie duffles anymore

Sounds you just need a wheelie that fits 3 bats (the sidearm can fit in the main compartment). The aero stand up tour bag is phenomenal- great organization and design. It’s a bit tough to fit into the boot of a small car though. A close second is the MH L100 - slightly less organized, but it’s tapered design might make it easier to fit into a boot. Both bags have an external bat cave for three bats. Shrey wheelie also has this, but is not a stand up design.

I think the aero is too big and awkward to load into the boot. MH looks like a good bag but very expensive. Will check out shrey and see what is available.

Red Ink do a wheelie with 3 padded bat pockets, heaps of storage and about £70 cheaper than the M&H. Not as bulky as the Aero IIRC.

I'm getting some I'm soon and mine have 3 bat pockets in a seperate compartment, but are wheelie duffles. I just don't like the space wheelie bags take up in small changing rooms.

I have Warsop's Platinum Pro Duffle Bag; I know it is not a wheelie bag and only holds 2 bats but I can squeeze my technique bat in it's own bat cover between the 2 bat pockets; I do cram my bag with all my stuff and often have to pack a secondary bag for the non cricket essentials.

I wish; I'm just one of those people who's got to have everything the same; cricket isn't cheap these days, hence why I am still using bats that are 20 years old.

Any updates on stand up wheelie bags?  I have had enough of my wheeled duffle bag - find its not good enough as a duffle or as wheeled bag. Plus might be my age but seems too heavy with all my c*ap in it to lift ( how on earth did we used to manage the hard coffins with the little handles!).
