ODI Top 7: Roy, Bairstow, Root, Stokes, Buttler, Livingstone, Ali
Second XI: Salt, Vince, Malan, Brook, Clarke, Billings, Jacks/Sam Curran

Not at all bad, especially when you think there are guys like Ben Duckett, TKC, Sam Hain and Will Rhodes not even really part of the conversation.

Superstar of the white ball game and has been a real asset to England over the last few years and regarded as one of the best white ball captains and tacticians in the world. Will be missed for his leadership and his understanding of the modern game. His batting however he is probably not now in the top 6 and would be a squad player so great time to step down .

Personally I wouldn’t give Butler the captain responsibility as we just need his batting but nit sure who would be a better option, Ali I don’t think has the longevity of age to be a long term option but I could be wrong there.
