After winning the SG bat in a raffle, I have taken the plunge and gone all out SG and received my new Shrey Masterclass Air 2.0 Titanium today.

Softs and batting kit is much the same as last year. Bought a couple of new bags (H4L duffle for midweek/Sunday games, Red Ink large duffle for league games) but the big change is bats. I may or may not have sold off just about every bat I owned and got a bit spendy...

Left to right:

- One from Chad's workshop stickered as a Pryzm Volca.
- Scott Butterfly JS175, SBLH.
- Garrard, allegedly sub-grade but I find that difficult to believe when looking at it.
- Chase FLC from the CBF sales section.
- Oxfordshire, rehandled and restickered by Mr Scott.
- Phantom Apache, looks and feels TK made, Blitz-y shape, eBay bargain.

Not all that I bought over this winter but looks like these will be the ones in the game bags, now to learn how to hit the ball off the square with them...

First time playing in a few years so naturally decided to update a fair bit of my gear haha.

Bats:
GN Predator 500 - always wanted one when younger so a no brainer to get one with the re-release
Ayrtek G2 - Awesome bat. Purchased from Whack sports and scoring a few runs with it so the predator might not get a look in for a while.
Blank Tazz - Refurb I did for someone at my club but he didn’t want it anymore so it’s my spare/wet weather bat. Very good middle

Gloves:
Kookaburra Rogue Players x 2
Kookaburra Verve Players x 3
Cicada Sports Gloves
Impala v900

Pads:
Kookaburra 1877 Players
GM Original LE (recent purchase and an eBay bargain)
Remfry Outer (new purchase)
Remfry Inner custom (not pictured as hasn’t arrived)

Helmet:
Masuri Vision Series Steel

Armguards
Remfry wrist guard. Just need to contact Luke and he makes them for you. Very cheap as there is no leather, towelling or straps
Ayrtek Hybrid
Stretton Fox (never use this but keep in bag just in case.

Keeping:
Ton Players Pads
Spartan MSD7 gloves

Bag/Case
GN Ultra Duffle
Duck and Run Coffin - probably my favour piece of kit and very rare to see one over here in Australia.

Other
New Balance ck10v4
Aero Box
Shock Doctor Box
Shock Doctor titan alloy box (not pictured as hasn’t arrived )
Oakley Sutro
Rapid Arm thrower (this thing is awesome!)

My custom inner thigh pad arrived today. Went for a double strap option in a custom 26cm size. He didn’t have any blue toweling left so I went with black but with blue writing on the outside. Super pumped with how it turned out

My kit for the season:

Pads: model from a couple of years back. Top end pads with great protection and comfort.

Gloves, 3x pairs of this years, nice and light and great protection. Pittards palms too.

Bats:

2x G1s and 1x G2. All three are huge and absolutely fly. Semi oval handles, fill the guage and weigh only 2.9

Indoor nets start on Friday so the kit has come out.... a bit of change for this season -

Bats -
Choice Custom - my trusty Choice is now 6 years old and has been given a wonderful refurb (including new handle) by Jonny.
Keeley Worx - bought at the start of last season as my new match bat but TBH hasn't yet taken over from my Choice.

Pads -
SS All White Pro - New for this season, hopefully should be good and fit well as they are Small Mens.

Gloves -
SS Limited Edition All White - These are brand new and feel amazing so can't wait to try them out.
Willow & Wand - Great gloves from Soulman very soft with good protection.

WK -
Gloves and Pads are Hunts County Players - the pads turned up unbranded which I wasn't to fussed about. I have new replacement gloves coming in a months time. I have used Hunts keeping gear for almost 30 years and still can't fault it for value and quality!

Helmet - Masuri Vision series Ti.

Bag - Club bag made by Base Cricket.

Not in the photo are Reebok Spiked trainers and some old P2's (which need replacing TBH).

Two bags
1) New Balance FKW
2) WCW with unbranded softs
Somewhere else is my coffin with Quantock Cricket bats, unbranded softs & my cricket shoes (I hope)
Two C&D Albion helmets just 20 years between them
Netting with the WCWs, so far so good.

I’ll see what I can do… only do one profile really, nice and full, very little concaving and just different blade lengths.

My gear has changed already. My duffle broke and I manged to get a GN Legend Stand up wheelie off of market place for a good deal. That bag also had an issue but as it was still under warranty I received a replacement GN Legend Gold bag for the same price as the duffle effectively. I'll chuck a review and some photos up as I have literally seen zero reviews for the bag anywhere.

My NB CK10 shoes tore at the sole plate so I got replacement Asics Gel Gully 7's. They are much comfier tbh.
