For Worcester see Derbyshire and Leicestershire too.
I live in derby and go to see the county games plus the blast games and it solely comes down to money
Which is bad for the game as Notts always nick the blast players from around our area
Don’t be surprised if Rehan ends up at Trent bridge either

There will be a few moves away from Surrey at the end of the season too.

Kent have had to bring “loan signings” in for this round of CC matches as well due to having a couple unavailable through injury. Really doesn’t say much about the development program at the county and like those mentioned a non test ground who are also by all accounts going to lose the best player in Jordan Cox to a rumoured move to Surrey or Essex. So Kent have gone from having 3 potential England keeper, batsmen in Billings, Robinson and Cox to none and have no players of the ability to apparently fill in for a single CC fixture.

As has been said seems the gulf between counties that have test status and those that don’t is growing larger and larger seaosn by season which isn’t good for the game as a whole.

Kent are a bit of a shambles at the moment - Billings standing down as red ball captain, not playing this round when Cox is injured leaving Harry Finch to fill in as keeper (but no doubt Billings will play The Hundred), no luck with injuries - Nathan Gilchrist hardly bowled a ball, the one threatening seamer we had was Agar and he went home injured. Can't produce our own bowlers through the pathway for love nor money - the last one of note was Matt Coles. We had two youngsters from my club in the performance programme during the winter and I can't see what improvement they've made to be honest. Kent has such a large playing base in terms of grass roots - either we are a county full of quantity without quality, or Kent CCC really don't explore wide enough to find talent. I didn't understand why they let Darren Stevens go to then bring in Hogan either. I know which one I would want.

Its very interesting with Kent; as we do have some good players but the list of players currently missing is extremely long and with the squad size that we have this is now having a detrimental affect on the squad.

Crawley with England; Muyeye, Bell Drummond, Denly, Cox, O'Riordan, Gilchrist & Hogan all injured; Billings is on the cuspe of quitting red ball cricket; Stewart is playing for Italy and our oversea Agar has also gone home injured.

Downton is leaving as DOC at the end of the season; so I predict there could be quite a few changes happening and in relaity if we get relegated this year it could be better of for the club and we can focus on some home grown players such as Muyeye, Singh and the lives of Evison, rather than signing or the continued conversation of Stevens for players that are into their 40s.

There is clearly tallent in the Kent League, you look at Bhuiyan this year but there arent many people in the league by the age of 25/26 that dont have another career; even if being a proffesional cricketer is the dream!
