He seemed to do a pretty decent job all things considered!

One bad shot at the end but a very very good knock from a young batsman. Him and Woakes did superb.

Woakes I still believe should be in every team at home anyway

Imagine you'll see Robinson out for Anderson. They really have a problem with Bairstow - he's in there to do what he's done last summer and he's failing that as well as his shoddy keeping; if Stokes had an ounce of common sense he'd drop him for Foakes

Lot of 5 nil predictions incorrect. These teams are really close, both making mistakes, both producing bits of brilliance. Hopefully goes down to the last test, but you'd still fancy Australia having the advantage of a lead.

Great result from England and don’t hear to many negatives about the way England play when they win lol.

Got to few for Scott Boland can’t think of many players that have batted in two innings & bowled in 2 innings with no runs and no wickets lol

Good day went to day just got home , helps living within 1 mile of Headingley

Take away Brooks did well so did Woakes once he settled .

Boland struggles in the field

Gray Nicolls stand oh dear another bat down !!!

Still see this as both rather than either/or.

Nah, it's time now. Especially as Foakes seemingly comes with a guarantee of at least one ton per test, 16 dismissals and zero errors 😉 What has Bairstow ever done for this England team anyway?!

I just don't see how the selector and Stokes/McCullum can look at his performances so far and say he's been anything but poor. I get wanting to back him but this experiment of him at #7 and keeping has been a mess. Woakes was obviously class enough to take most of that home with Brook, but Foakes proved last summer he was the guy at the other end seeing those chases off and dropping anchor. Keep picking Bairstow and this series is probably lost.

Also the fact those bucket hats still aren't back in stock is rubbish from Castore - surely they knew they'd sell like hotcakes

Am I the only person who thinks they look grim?
