Looking at the shape, I was wondering....would that bat go through a bat gauge looking at the high spine? or is the spine height exaggerated because of the small edges?

It's around the 65-67mm but still 60ish higher up the blade. You can probably see that gradual drop rather than a sudden drop in spine height.so I guess that's the trade off.

To be honest I found Rob Pack quite rude and arrogant. I’ve heard others say the same.
He is an MCC member after all  ;)

But that’s just my experience.

A team mate of mine spent a fortune on a Blue Room bat, and a few years later when he went to have it refurbished, RP accused him of owning a stickered up fake and refused to deal with him.
