Crawley: 290 runs @ 32. (238 of them in one innings!)

Are we being extra kind to Alex because we lost him before?

If he makes bats which are good enough for Babar Azam I don't think it's being too kind to suggest they'll do for us weekend warriors 🤣

I thought someone upset him by suggesting Babar might be looking elsewhere?

I'm not doubting the quality of his bats. Mostly because I've never tried one.

Hi.....

I'm not going to comment to specifically on my reasons on taking a break from the forum. But the break did me some good so that can't be a bad thing.

You are welcome to be extra nice to me if you like, but there's no need. I love making bats, but also know that what or how I make things may not be to everyone's taste.

I've worked very hard to get a reputation amongst the players for making great bats and for building a working relationship with them...and I think that stands me well enough.

Enjoy the bats at VKS....I've got a small drop of Ollie Pope spec bats going to Cricket Direct this week if anyone's hunting 😁

Wouldn't that be an indirect way of doing things?

Thanks Alex! Are they all the same weight and the same SB/LH setup?

I am patiently waiting for the Cricket Direct site to update as I wait for the page to go from ‘sold out’ to available- One of the disadvantages of not being in the UK.

In the spirit of wooing Alex and breaking my duck on the forum. I've currently got 5 Alex made bats, have owned 7 since 2021. What i have noticed with 'H' stamped bats compared to other GN stamped bats is they have sharper edges and spine, the pick up is noticeably lighter than the weight and the most significant thing is the ping up near the stickers is significantly better than the bats without the 'H' stamp. I do have GN bats that were not made by Alex, which i will share another time. All my bats have a 535mm blade and standard length handle and weigh 2.8. The Tempesta below is my current match bat. The newest additions are the Shockwave and Vapour, which are essentially the Tempesta shape with different stickers.
