To be fair this whole T20 World Cup has been a bit of a farce and shambles. On the positive a new host nation are through and maybe will take hold a bit in the USA.
Farce - Scheduled and fitted in around the IPL, this is a World Cup and should be the pinnacle of its name suggests the nation is the world champion.
Farce - games scheduled around Indian TV audience.
Farce - India is the only side that knows the venue of its semi final ( assuming they get they) well let’s be honest the ICC will make sure they get there one way or another.
Farce - would have had better luck with weather of scheduled the games in Manchester in April than the USA and Caribbean at stay of rainy season.

Not watched a single game or highlights and don’t think I will just not had any real love for this WC at all

When FIFA decided the 2022 football World Cup would in the winter - all the leagues around world did as they where dictated to.
The ICC granted the IPL this window - therefore the ICC can revoke the ‘IPL window’ for the ICC World T20.
The ICC is weak and pathetic.
It’s not like the IPL has to be played in April-May.

Let’s not forget that the semi final India as pretty much guaranteed to play has a reserve day for bad weather whilst the other semi final doesn’t….

What a surprise. I can’t believe this amount of what can only be called biased towards one nation can be condoned within internationally recognised tournament. But it’s hardly a surprise

I still can't believe they got those 5 penalty runs vs the US. Umpires were deep in the rule book for that one, I'm pretty sure half the players didnt even know what was going on.

Clinical. It's that dangerous period where you start to believe anything is possible... 🤣

This World Cup sucks ass but a few updates:

South Africa edged England is a tight game.
West Indies pummelled the Yankees.
Would take something freakish for South Africa to miss out on the semifinals.

In the other group India hammered Bangladesh. If Australia beat Afghanistan in the evening game, both Australia and India will make the semifinals with a game to spare - which is against each other.

You could put it like that, or like some would.....

Afghanistan outclass the hapless Ozzies. Skills pay the bills.
Marshs captaincy was pitiful.
Theres some players in the Australia side that are living off past performances.

Admittedly not the strongest opposition but that mad over from Buttler was something special to watch.

You’re not as negative and hateful when your own side comes up short in an embarrassing defeat are you buddy. Let’s me honest AFG battered you, your side is held together by 2 or 3 good players and the skipper is clueless and out of his depth. Let’s hope you get battered by India and AFG win again
