Going back to the simple basics is a good start. Plenty of nets will probably sort it to be honest.
I always find hanging a ball in sock from the garage beams irons out any timing/technique issues.
A good 45-60 mins a few times a week gives me a head start during winter nets particularly.
It just helps to feel the middle of the bat on ball as much as possible.
