If you look at an eye in bat. They have huge edges because the original edges are gone. Same concept here.

Not working for me.

go for a Goose anyday

I'm not going to knock it as it looks good, but to be honest its not as radical as it was hyped up to be by everyone!

It's hard to create a radical bat that confirms to MCC laws, plays well, looks good and performs.

I'd argue it is radical as the concept has never been released before.

sorry but i just think this is a pale imitation of the mongoose

Classic! I do rate the mongoose MMi3 that I have. But I have to say that the joker I have dwarfs the goose!
Obviously I could be wrong, and the joker turns out to perform like a big girs blouse...but i fear not!

But ask Watsontotty as well, as this is just my opinion, and as people say, "opinions vary!"

Wow that looks really cool! A twist on cricket bat design without taking it too far, if you know what I mean. Love the stickers, too.

The bat weighs in a 2'10/11. Has 12 grains and is beautifully finished.
The pick-up is far better than I expected! I expected it to be bottom heavy, but it actually feels nicely balanced!
Like any bat, I guess it will either feel right or wrong for you - this personally feels right for me!

I promised that watsontotty could have first 'show' of his joker, as he ordered first.
But I will grab the camera this evening  ;)

I really like it, like the  stickers, they look subtle and bold at the same time, so how big would at 2.8oz be?

Charlie would probably be able to measure the edges for a 2'8, but I would say that the edges would be between 40-44mm.
I am only saying that because oof a 2'10 bat being 45mm.
But its not just the edges at the fattest point - its also at the skinniest point, the edges are still pretty thick.
So the power from a 2'8 would still be immense!  :D

Can't wait to take it down the nets!  8)

Am just looking at the pics again and I think I'm sold on the idea. I always though there was more to come from the Uzi style short blade idea and I think this is it. Will probably order one this week

They look like great bats! A fairly revolutionary idea applied very well, if Pete considers it a good bat it must be!

Pete considers every bat ;), hence why his collection is so vast :P
