The first cricket box was used in 1874.  The first cricket helmet was introduced in 1974. So, it took 100 years for men to twig that their brains were also worth protecting.

you were on there today making comments, maybe you should go back?! Seems to me that you are clearly very ambitious but need to wait till you grow up and have a better understanding of the way things work.

i have other people helping me to start up the company... soo its not just me.

yer thats me i dont go on csf anymore cus most of those guys are d heads,  right back to the subject....

i have come up with an idea of an environmentally freindly series called the enviro, the bat  is going to just be normal ew but all the softs are going to be made out of a recycled rubber, which is going to be heated at high tempreaters and moulded.

atm this is only an idea but we think it could boom in the cricket market,... pls tell me wat u think.

call me synical but I doubt a 13 year old is gonna make many waves in the cricket world, either that or you are hanging on the coat tails if your Dads idea.

And yes he is 13, here is the link to that other forum that he doesn't use!

presume that's aimed at me for stating that you were on CSF when you said you don't use it?!? If so you are the one that said you don't use it; you said that yesterday morning at 8:53! Not last night and I'd be surprised if you were tired then. Well unless you had been up all night fantasising about what rubbish you were going to spout next

Start slowly and try and source stuff locally, ie. dont ask for stickers in the UK when you can get them made in Oz, find somewhere there.

It isn't easy, the internet is fine for selling but be aware that if you to have ask questions about products and the whys and therefores on cricket equipment and you are selling stuff yourself you aren't really ready to sell to people as you are still learning yourself and people buying from you may have more knowledge about it then you have.  You need to be equal of above to meets those customers needs.

Dont try and take on the world or push out stuff you are nervous about and will need to email people about every other day to find out how it is going. Research quietly, learn all you need to, sell locally and build up a reputation and the brand slowly if you are really interested in doing it long term. Get comfortable with seeing your stuff being used and people using it, build up a reputation there and then if you are happy and players are happy and word of mouth is working locally, expand out.

I've seen, answered and watched a few people startup with little or no knowledge it is both amusing and scary.
