Very weird game today. We were bowled out for 136, I got 11 batting at 7 and opened the bowling 5-1-24-2 including a wicket maiden first over.
They were 80-2 off 12 then were all out for 127 in the 24th over.

We lost today posting 143-8 (10 men). I got 26 from 13 overs. Very long outfield, lots of running, joint top 4 scorer - 3.
I kept wicket and did quite well, a few 'hollywood' catches lol i.e catching the ball diving and rolling around for a bit. Also got a direct hit run out at the bowler's end, second time in a week :)

finished the season with 1127 runs and 31 wickets. Happy days :)

Played against a touring side today bowled them out for 138 with a nice 8 overs of spin and 3 of pace ish to have 11-3-18-1 then we were coasting to victory needing 15 to win 3 down and lost 3 very quick wickets so I had to bat (which did not feel like as very tired) so rushed out no thigh guard no box no helmet and my trainers but got a 3 not out to help us win so not too bad

almost batted today... with a broken ankle!

went down to watch a friendly (very village opposition) at my club.... turned out they had just 9 players and i said if they lost a lot of wickets i would bat and just stand there and block. luckily they only lost 7 wickets and i was next in!

good win today, bowled side out for 140, got early wickets then two of there lads put on 70 odd, then i got a direct hit aiming at one stump to get rid of one, and the other one perished off my bowling ;), caught mid on, i also took 2 catches, we helped them get to 140 after they were 110-9, some generous bowling form some "spinners". Then we knocked them off losing one wicket inside 23 overs. Good times!

Yeah usually bat at 6/7 on a sun to let the younger players have a bat and funnily enough was scoring when had to go in with someone elses pads and gloves as grabbed whatever was lying around and did not realise I was in my trainers until the keeper mentioned it as they are brown ha

Finished the season with back to back 50's across the weekend. 58no on Saturday, coasting, then came the rain. 79 on the Sunday, very tame getting out just chipped the spinner to mid on, after launching him a few times onto the clubhouse
