Great fucing comment, did you stretch your vocabulary a bit to much there? Shall you get a gold star from your teacher when you go back to school? Perhaps a pat on the head?

Don't think seedy needs to back up his point, it's obvious why he thinks that. If he said "Ireland will smash england", would you have had the same reaction?

Yes. Did I say "Ireland will smash England"? No, if life were that simple I would have.

Niall - you expect Ireland to win against England, fair enough - got to support your country. You can see why people dont take you seriously when you say that every single one of your players has to play their best match possible to beat England (who are rated poorly in One day cricket anyway) - you dont see many English fans saying the same........I'm all for a bit of national pride, also a big fan of realism as well........i could easily say "Well it Pietersen has a hundred and so does Kieswetter, then Anderson gets a hat trick then we'll win easily", thats an obvious statement to make and provides little insightful thought to the match. I think the match will be good, but i think that England has too much strenght in depth for the Irish side, purely based on the experience of the players and the lack of top international games played by the irish side.....of course, just an opinion though :D

Yes Shilly, that's what I like to hear. I hardly said That we need to people to make a ton!! I'm just saying, being mainly amateurs we have a few more off days then most, but if were not having an off day we will bowl and field very well, because we are good enough. With the batting I'm just saying we need one of the pros who are on full-time county contracts (Niall, Porterfield) to stand up because they have the experience against these sides, im not saying if two lads make a ton well win, because that is usually the case! (when 2 people get tons) You get me? :) :L

the person who said there is no atmosphere is a total cricket dummy. Im sure sitting quietly in a stand and clapping after every boundary with no noise in between is full of excitement. and to say that the stadiums hold 5 fans just shows how naive some of the people on here are

west indies are not what they used to be, maybe its because we have just come from the ipl where there there was a full stadium for every game and a 200+ wicket on display that ive come to expect too much from a t20 game.

but if i want to see teams go at 6 an over, ill watch an odi. the only appeal that t20 has to me is when teams get 10 per over and smash boundaries, aside from seeing the likes of david warner tee off i really dont have any affection for the format what-so-ever. slow low pitches and slow outfields do not make it fun to watch

niall - you gave it the bigg'un about irish cricket and they didnt back you up dont take it out on us, keep on topic!

And a maiden!
Although to be honest...I reckon it's all too late!
191 runs of 20 overs? That's gonna take some getting!  :(
