Asad bhai if I am not mistaken, most SS bats (Platinum, Gold, Special and Gladiator) have the same Super Grade A sticker on them. So that means all these bats are top of the rack willow (that is if Grade A is for willow grading). If so, then why the price difference on the bats? Also Sangakara is now using bats with a LE or Ranger sticker (at lease used it in in today's match)..... we all know they get/put stickers of models the companies want to promote after all they get paid for this.

As per MCC Law6 and Appendix E - Grade A, B and C is dependent on the materials used in the construction of the bat handle. Grade A and Grade B bats cannot have more then 10% material other than cane, twine etc and the % goes upto 20% for grade C bats. Only Grade A and B bats can be used in first class and above levels.
You certainly have more experience and knowledge then me on the cricket equipment front. Kinldy correct me if I am wrong.
