Well - there is a part of his website that has some bats for sale!
These are where an order has been cancelled at the last moment! So James sells them discounted!
There was a Sig on there for a very discounted price...but it was traditional profile so I wasn't interested! Willow looked awesome though!  :D
He has a Reserve on there at the moment weighing 2'10 with the 1/2 inch longer blade!! Perfect for me, although would be better if it were a little heavier. And it's for sale for £270 + £35 delivery to UK. This is very cheap for the Reserve bat!

My LW Reserve is going pretty good. It is 2.11-2.12 with traditional profile (Even I liked bowed profile) But I won't complain because of the quality of the bat.
Thaman: which one are you getting from James? Please post some pics. when you get it..

BAT 29 - Canterbury Weapon 500

This is a limited bat with 500 being made...or so the rumour goes.
Even though CCC seems to be a company with New Zealand origins, I believe I'm right in saying that these weapon bats were made buy Warsop! This is a good thing in my book though!  8)
This is number 404 purchased from a forum member.
It weighs 2lb 10oz and has 7 grains and a very nice profile! The edges are generous but not huge, and the pickup comfortable. Have not tapped this bat up yet, so the ping-o-meter will just have to stay put until the mallet process starts!
But knowing the quality workmanship of Warsop, this bat is likely to play extremely well.

Pics to follow.........

You are correct pete CCC europe (based in Manchester) did the cricket kit and warsop made the limited run of bats...priced at over £250 in the shops they went down well from what we were told when supplying them with the softs!

I alwats fully intend to knock in all the bats and use them, but with some of the bats I simply don't get a chance!
By the time I finish this topic, it's likely to be a few months and my inventory changes so there are bats going out and coming in!
So it's just a case of keeping track which bats I have done already, and try to get through them all.
Using all the bats isn't possible, but I am planning a number of winter nets! A few of the colts are as keen as mustard to get as much practice as possible using the bola machine at the sports hall during the dark months! Plus there are a couple of other mates who are wanting to keep the nets going! So I'm hoping to use more of the bats than normal!

BAT 30 - Newbery TT SPS

And one for next season now! This was the bat I traded one of my GT335 SPS bats for and a little extra too!
I had an email from Mark Tait who seems to have good supplies of Mongeese (is that the plural for a Mongoose?) and now Newbery TT bats! And offered me a trade for a nice new TT. As Mark has a bad name as a banned member on this forum I was a tad sceptical...but he assured me that he had sorted his act out and was now a determined young man, wanting to make an interesting hobby of suppying bats for the sport he loves!
So I put all doubts to one side, and decided to see if the lad could be trusted! So the deal was done, and I paid at my end and trusted that the new TT would arrive, with finger crossed! And I only had to wait for a day!!  8)
Along it came and it was a very nice bat. 2lb 11.5oz and a great profile with 9 grains, heartwood running along one side of the bat. The edges are extremely generous at just under 40mm, which for the weight is impressive to say the least!
these bats look a little different with the cut-away shoulders, and the handle therefore feels a tiny bit longer than your normal SH!

First little net review to follow......

Had a little teaser of a net on Sunday and first impressions are great!
The pickup feels very good, quite light considering the generous size of the blade!
These Newberys feel as good as any! And the fact that it's under 2'12 and feels as powerful as something heavier is good news! Newbery seem to have raised the bar with this one and it will be interesting to see how many of these babies turn up around the various cricket grounds next season!
This is partly knocked in, so used soft balls only. But not sure yet how it will compare with the extremely high standards that Redback and Black Cat have set! It's hard to actually tell how far certain shots would have gone in the nets, but it makes a nice sound and it flies off the middle.
So there will be more updates on this bat (and a few others) during extended net sessions and testing over Winter!
Will this make it to my kit bag next season? Probably! Will it be my main match bat? Not sure! The Black Cat is soooo good that this TT would need to jump through hoops and make me a cuppa in order to be better! But who knows.....
