Ive got to say Pete that this thread is quite spiffingly brilliant and your commitment to the forum is great to see.Well impressed with the time and effort you are taking with the bat pics.

Glad you're enjoying it! There is plenty to come over the next few months too!
And I reckon with a few of the bats going outward bound, and a few coming in, I will continue to update my collection!

Hope to do some more detailed reviews during winter nets too, which may bring a bit more interest!

BAT 34 - Malik Bubber Sher

This weighs in at 2'9 with alot of wood and edges, as seems to be normal with these bats!
Very nice light pickup but it still feels meaty enough to do some bowler damage is required.
Yet another bat I haven't knocked in and tried in the nets yet - but fingers crossed I get round to it soon!
I won't comment as to whether it will go like a train, but these bats generally play very well indeed.

what does Bubber sher actually mean? I'm keen to extend my universal cricket language beyond 'shabash' and 'lekka bru'....oh and let's take a wicket 'in shalah' is another one I like. A

In my opinion, the Bubber Sher has one of the nicest profiles going - i was tempted to buy that bat off Fattus earlier this year, unsuprisingly it has ended up in your gargantuan mitts
